A follow up to the 10/17/2008 all day Spirit of God Community Youth and Family Ministry held at St. Mary Magdalen Parish in Los Angeles, California. This week there was a larger group of mostly Filipinos, which reflects the diversity of the Catholic and Faith.
Fr. Sonny Ramirez was unable to make his second week commitment to speak.
Fr. Ray B. Matunog held a solemn mass. Again the live gospel type band was enjoyable. Fr. Matunog stated the mass was in honor of the dedication of the Basilica’s of Peter and Paul in Rome. He also stated there are four Basilicas in Rome:
- Peter
- Paul
- John
- Mary
and that the Pope dedicated this year to St. Paul. The Atmosphere for these meetings is amenable and the meal outstanding.
